"A bucket for restless souls ([which] can probably apply to Birmingham as a whole)."

"Dexys put Moseley in its place on "Don't Stand Me Down", dontcha? He was right then, he's still right."

The 2009 Moseley Festival saw the ginger-haired fraternity have a great time at the Ginger Fest, a celebration of the ginger gene that gained coverage from BBC West Midlands and the Birmingham Mail, and a surprise appearance gardening redhead Alys Fowler. And 2010 looks to be another one to mark down for the diary, with Ginger Fest II planned for 8pm on Wednesday 14 July at the Fighting Cocks. Last year saw a ginger quiz, a song in the honour of ginge, heroes and zeroes, and a beauty pageant – where gingers gave us a brief manifesto of what being ginger means to them. This year will probably be pretty similar.
